FINAL PROJECT!

3D Graphics and Animation Final Project

Throughout this semester you have learned how to use many of Mayas different tools.  For your final project you will need to use your creativity and imagination to create two separate scenes in Maya.
1.      The first scene you will need to create an object using 3 of the first 5 tools listed and animate the scene.  You may choose to use any of 5 different types of animation.

2.      The second scene you will need to again use 3 of the first 5 tools to create an object and then you must render the scene.   Within your rendered scene, you must assign a color or material to each object.  You also must add a PSD file (a picture) to something in your scene, either an object, a background, or by creating a world with a picture attached.

*Both scenes MUST be different.  You may NOT use the same object for both your animation and your rendering.
This purpose of this final project is to show me that you understand how to use the basic tools in Maya, how to use your resources to help you solve any issues you may encounter, and it gives you an opportunity to expand on those tools you are most interested in.  If you have explored extra tools throughout the semester, please feel free to include them.  You will need to track all tools you used on your Final Grading Sheet.
Here is the list of tools you have learned.
Creation Tools
1.  Creating Polygons –Temple & Table Mini Lesson
*creating, moving, multiplying polygons       *duplicate objects (duplicate special)
2.  Creating Nurbs – Egg Head
